About Y.O.D.O.
Y.O.D.O. is a UK private communication support service that delivers a verified notice and releases sealed messages after an Account Holder's passing.
Users schedule regular Check-ins and store private messages for named Recipients. If a Check-in goes unanswered, trusted contacts called Delegates may be notified. Messages are delivered only after a passing has been verified.
The service is built around privacy, verification, and considered delivery. Sensitive actions require identity checks and review before they are finalised.
Y.O.D.O. Ltd was founded in 2024 and launched in May 2026.
Role separation
Delegates cannot see message content. Recipients and Delegates have separate roles with independent permissions.
Verification steps
Messages are delivered only after a passing has been verified through identity checks and a review process.
Review windows
Sensitive actions include a response window for other Delegates and a review by Y.O.D.O.
