    Checking In

A calm way to check in on an elderly parent

Living far from a parent who lives alone is a quiet kind of worry. Y.O.D.O. replaces guesswork with rhythm: scheduled check-ins that they answer in seconds, and a transparent escalation if something feels off.

    The short answer

Y.O.D.O. is a UK check-in service for adult children of elderly parents. The parent answers a quick scheduled check-in. If a check-in is missed, named Delegates are alerted in a calm, transparent order. It is communication, not medical monitoring.

    The parent stays in charge

Your parent decides the check-in rhythm, who their Delegates are, and what happens if a check-in is missed. No tracking, no alarms, no surveillance.

Care Pauses for hospital stays or holidays

Planned breaks, like a hospital stay or a holiday, can be marked as a Care Pause so no false alerts go out. Everyone stays calm.

Not a medical or emergency service

Y.O.D.O. does not contact emergency services or detect medical events. For urgent help, always dial 999. We are the calm layer that sits between everyday life and a medical event.
